The York Region Sustainability Awards took place last Thursday, 30 May at the offices of KPMG in Vaughan. Compugen and Green4Good were jointly awarded the innovation award on behalf of the Region by Toby Heaps, Co-founder, CEO and Editor in Chief of Corporate Knights Inc., who was also the event’s keynote speaker. The citation reads: In addition to a number of internal process improvements such as telecommuting, Compugen and Green4Good have provided the first carbon credit for IT assets and launched a proactive action planning program.
This is a fantastic honour, and some great work and initiative demonstrated by both Compugen and Green4Good teams.
